America for Bulgaria Foundation (ABF) awarded two youth companies with the biggest potential for future development. This happened on June 3, 2010 at the Rising Stars youth business forum organized by Junior Achievement Bulgaria (JAB). More than 500 participants representing 22 university and 58 school students companies participated and competed for awards in six categories. The excitement of the participants and the ambition to present their companies in the best possible way made the job of the jury extremely difficult.

ABF recognized Profi Soft student’s company of the Sofia Professional School in electronics and automatics for the professional IT services they offer. Useful Technologies, a company of the students at the Technical University in Sofia, was acknowledged for the development of the Electronic Student Card that would substitute current student’s book.

Rising starts is one of the several events organized by JAB and supported by ABF as part of the Foundation’s 3-year program for promoting entrepreneurial education in Bulgaria.
