The grant aims to achieve greater transparency and accountability in the operations of public institutions and administrative courts that control considerable amounts of public funds. Access to easily available public information about their work is an effective tool for civic control by the media, NGOs, and active citizens. The project aims to ensure greater compliance by government agencies with legal obligations to actively disclose public information. An improved regulatory framework will result in a more consistent case law regarding access to information practices.
