Dear Friends,

Some heroes wear name tags, others carry bicycle tools, paintbrushes, or cookie molds. None of them call themselves heroes. They just care – enough to start something, to fix something, to make life a little better for someone else.

In this edition of our newsletter, we meet people who prove that change doesn’t begin with big words or perfect plans. It begins with care.

We will travel to classrooms and campuses across Bulgaria – from Sofia and Blagoevgrad to small towns beyond – where two friends, Yuliy and Emil, turned after-school chats into a national movement helping young people learn and act with purpose. To Varna, where Zdravko’s love of bicycles became a network of repair stations stretching across the country – and a symbol of community on two wheels. To Plovdiv, where the creators of Maina Town built a “non-museum” that invites the city to laugh at itself and rediscover its own rhythm. And to Veliko Tarnovo, where Prestige CEO Darina Stoyanova reminds us that leadership, at its core, is about people.

Different stories, same heartbeat: hope, creativity, and the quiet conviction that change starts right where you are.
