“Prolet” Kindergarten Samokov

Last summer, ABF funded a summer school for kindergartners studying in Samokov’s Roma neighborhood. The project was warmly welcomed by the community, and attendance shot up dramatically. This summer, ABF is once again supporting Prolet kindergarten’s initiative to provide intensive summer schooling for 22 Roma children from economically disadvantaged families. The program includes daily lessons, games, and an overnight excursion to act as an incentive and a reward for participation.
