Association “Organization Drom” Vidin

USD 25,501

This grant supports educational, extracurricular activities in Vidin. Handicraft and Ethno-culture classes were set up in three schools (two integrated and one Roma) to acquaint pupils with a variety of crafts—including pottery and woodworking. The purpose of this activity is to create a multicultural environment that fosters friendship and interaction amongst different types of students. 60 children are involved. The program also popularized the lessons learned during these handicraft lessons through a broadcast on a local TV channel. Within the scope of this project, Organization Drom also organized preparatory classes for university admission for 30 Roma high school students and an adult education class for 26 Roma parents.

We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
