This grant is for the development of the Danube boat tours project, supported by ABF in 2021 as part of the Tourism along the Danube RFP. Last year the tours attracted 600 tourists. The current grant will be used for the purchase of fishermen outfits and the development of a promotional campaign with the help of travel bloggers, tour operators, and journalists. A new service will be included in the tours starting this year — lunch with local Banat cuisine — in partnership with the Asenovo village community center. This year, Amur Nikopol Association will work in cooperation with Prestige hotel in Belene in organizing culinary and birdwatching tours.
