Educational Workshops at the Computer Arts Festival “Computer Spaces”

This project will allow the Student Computer Arts Society (SCAS) to enhance the educational program of the 23rd annual Computer Arts Festival in Bulgaria – “Computer Space”. With ABF’s support, SCAS will bring eight American and European computer arts experts to give lectures and workshops for the participants at the Festival. The project will also expand the variety of educational topics covered and will include subjects such as Mixed Technologies: Traditional and Computer Graphics and Animation Techniques; Special Effects in Film Art, Art and Writing: a Practical Course in Calligraphy. With the enhanced educational program, the Festival is expected to attract over 1,000 Bulgarian and international attendees. A booming multidisciplinary industry at the crossroads between science, technology, and arts, computer arts encourages the development of technical, artistic and adaptive learning skills in a collaborative process among people of diverse skills and backgrounds.
