This project is an attempt to bring the teaching of English and American studies at Sofia University up to date with the contemporary demands of online education and the new technologies in education. The project will train43 faculty how to use digital technologies and online platforms (such as Moodle), create online materials, and introduce “blended learning” (a combination of online and classroom education). In the course of the project, faculty will develop 20 electronic courses and course materials to enrich the curriculum of the Department. The project will also support a virtual depository for the online educational content. The project will also include the modernization of Hall 243, which will allow for the introduction of new technology, which will facilitate interactive learning.
