Days of Music is a classic music festival in old Plovdiv with two editions – in the spring and in the fall. Leading Bulgarian and world soloists are invited. The opening concert of the 2014 spring edition is dedicated to the great Bulgarian bass Boris Hristov. This year’s program will include: Elmira Darvarova, the first and only female concertmaster in the history of Metropolitan Opera; Victor Valkov, piano, Lachezar Kostov, cello, Heidelberg Opera’s chief conductor Yordan Kamdjalov (Germany), and many more.
