ABF has been supporting the three festivals since 2010. The project is in line with ABF’s strategy to promote appreciation for Bulgarian culture and educate young audience. The festivals provide opportunities for the young people to get in touch with high-quality art, generate new ideas and establish contemporary cultural models. This year One Design Week (June 19-28) will focus on post-digital culture. The festival’s program will be curated by Rene Beckman, a professor in digital arts at the Art University in Sofia. One Architecture Week (September 18-27) will focus on the Maritsa River and projects to blend it better into the Plovdiv urban design. One Dance Week (October 23- November 1) will tailor its program to include large groups of disadvantaged people – roma, deaf, and people in advanced age.
