Four years ago, the America for Bulgaria Foundation created a boutique, custom-designed entrepreneurship training program for aspiring young leaders and entrepreneurs in Bulgaria. Managed by the Institute of International Education in New York, the program offers a highly selective group of 30 Bulgarian undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to spend 5 weeks in the U.S., learning first-hand from entrepreneurs, business angles, and venture capitalists. With its components in New York City, Babson College in Boston, and the Silicon Valley, the program takes participants from the idea inception stage to creating a strong team and a viable market idea. Through its four years, the prestigious Summer Entrepreneurship Program has trained 120 alumni who have gone on to assume various leadership roles in the business and public sector.
Congratulations to the incoming SEP Class of 2014! We look forward to supporting you through your SEP-ic experience and beyond!
