Education Without Backpacks Association translates and adapts materials from the Khan Academy online learning platform into Bulgarian. It builds on the immense repository of online content generated by Khan Academy worldwide and benefits from the interactive features of the platform, allowing registered learners to test themselves and teachers to gather learner analytics. Through АBF’s continued support, Education Without Backpacks will translate and adapt all of Khan Academy’s STEM learning materials into Bulgarian, including 1,800 proofread videos in mathematics, over 1,800 videos in science, including chemistry, biology, physics, organic chemistry, health, and medicine, as well as additional exercises, programs, and texts on the platform. The Association will also train 2,300 teachers over three years and expand its outreach to more than 250 schools benefiting 100,000 students through teacher and school support programs.
