This grant will support the second edition of Air Balloon Fiesta, part of the Tourism Development in Northwestern Bulgaria RFP. The first ever air balloon fiesta in Bulgaria took place in September 2021 in Belogradchik and Vidin, attracting ten balloon teams from Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, and Russia and nearly 250 visitors. The event’s second edition will take place on September 22–25, 2022, and will include mountain biking and e-biking, hiking, safari and boat tours, wine tasting, and beach volleyball.
