The International Glass Festival in Sofia is a biennial event and its goal is to revive the art glass traditions in Bulgaria and to show art glass works of world artists. The Festival will be opened on September 18, 2012 with a strong US presence. Dawn Bennett of Urban Glass in New York will curate an exhibit with works of a number of established US glass artists. As in 2010, there will be demonstrations at the School of Applied Arts in Sofia.
