This grant is to support Maxim Eshkenazy’s classical music initiatives aimed at educating children in appreciation of classics, develop new audiences for classical music events and promote American musicians and composers. Since 2010, the Fortissimo idea has grown from a one-week music festival to a full program including Fortissimo Fest, Fortissimo in Class and Fortissimo Family.
