The project will continue to spread out entrepreneurial education at secondary schools for another three years by attracting new schools as partners and improving the quality and increasing the impact of selected JAB programs. The focus is on the following priorities: (1) The Student Company Program, which is JAB’s “core business”. In the course of one school year a team of students from one school forms a mini company, agrees upon a common business idea, raises start-up capital, creates a business plan, starts producing and selling the product/service, follows strict book-keeping procedures, and wounds up at the end. The best companies get to the national competition – the Rising Stars, which awards the winners and selects Bulgaria’s representative at the international competition; (2) Business Ethics program: The program is important for the formation of future Bulgarian business leaders who have to grown up with an understanding of what ethical and unethical business stands for, can make the difference and choose the side of ethics. “Business Ethics” is also a good complement to the Student Company program; (3) Innovation Camp: This one-day event gathers participants who have to work in teams on a particular problem and have to come up with a business solution in a couple of hours. They can use only laptops, Internet and computer programs, and most of all – their creative and innovative thinking.
We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
