This grant is to support Maxim Eshkenazy’s classical music initiatives aimed at educating children in appreciation of classics, developing new audiences for classical music events and promoting American musicians and composers. The program started in 2010 with several concerts in Sofia and Plovdiv and through the years evolved into the strongest classical music popularizing and educational program in Bulgaria. The audience and participants for the three Fortissimo programs: Fortissimo Fest, Fortissimo in Class and Fortissimo Family, exceeds 50,000 people through the years.
