One Design Week, One Dance Week, One Architecture Week 2014

ABF has been supporting the three festivals since 2010. In 2014, the three projects will take place in Plovdiv as followed: One Design Week (June 20-29, 2014), One Dance Week (August 28- September 6, 2014), and One Architecture Week (October 10-19, 2014). As usual, the program will be diverse, innovative and intriguing. One Design Week has invited Juliet Kinchin, curator at Moma’s Design and Architecture Dept., Honey & Bunny Studio, food designers. The Kapana area in Plovdiv will be turned into a design hot-spot with exhibits, demonstrations and performances. One Dance Week will open with demonstration of dance and kung fu with Korean performers followed by series of other international dance shows each day. One Architecture Week’s program is still in progress and some new activities are planned, such as “Besedki for Kapana”, series of professional talks and students’ collaborations, including Sofia University, Plovidiv University and Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy University. All three festivals include strong kids programs, films, networking events and parties.
