Star Dust Amateur Theatre Festival is one of the biggest annual events in Knezha. For its 6 years of existence, the results of Star Dusts have improved – in 2008 the 3 day program has included 50 artists from 5 theatre companies seen by 250 visitors while in 2015 there were 130 artists (80 Bulgarians and 50 international) from 13 theatre companies (8 Bulgarian and 5 international) seen by 500 visitors.

The 9th edition of the project will take place June 27-July 03, 2016. The program agenda includes 17 plays in that 13 Bulgarian and 4 international, divided into Youth and Adult modules. Additional events include gala opening with carnival parade; exhibitions, a brass concert, dance performances; and daily workshops on Acting, Staging, Costumes, and Makeup.
