First steps towards institutional strengthening of the National Sheep-breeding Association

The objective of this project is to support the NAS to organize five national meetings of its members in the major sheep-breeding regions in country - Shumen, Burgas, Pleven, Stara Zagora, and Blagoevgrad, where its management will present a draft action plan for the future of sheep-breeding, vision for sector development, industry challenges and how to tackle them.

With the grant the NAS will also revamp its website and lay the foundations for increasing its capability to provide value added services over the short and long term, and help the industry move towards a more market-oriented production chain.
