All young musicians want to meet experienced musicians and colleagues to get new ideas and inspiration and to gain experience as a conductor, soloist, or as a partner in a chamber ensemble. The ISA Allegra International Summer Academy was set up to provide both world-class training and a collaborative platform for participants and opportunities for expression. The fourth ISA Allegra 2017 International Summer Academy has begun and continues until July 24 in the fabulous city of Rousse!
In the course of a week of intensive work, participants improve their skills in every aspect of their musical art. In addition to working with Prof. Vassil Arnaudov’s mixed choir, participants in the master class in conducting choirs are encouraged to have individual and group meetings with video analysis and discussions. There are also violin, piano and guitar classes. All master classes conclude with a final concert in front of an audience.
