Fortissimo Fest promises to captivate us with its “Music under the Stars,” a set of musical masterpieces from the soundtracks of classic Bulgarian films. The Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maxim Eshkenazy and featuring many Bulgarian stars will perform in two fascinating outdoor concerts. The first is on September 10 before the National Theater in Sofia
and the second, on September 16 in the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv.
The outdoor classical music festival Fortissimo Fest celebrates its seven-year anniversary. Audiences will delight to the golden classics of Pancho Vladigerov, Petko Staynov and Marin Goleminov, with the folklore rhythms of Georgi Andreev and the charm of the music of Bulgarian favorite films. Fortissimo is a musical family event that brings the modern spirit of classical music and tells the scenic story of its magnificent history.
The Fortissimo family is growing steadily thanks to Maxim Eshkenazy, America for Bulgaria Foundation, and virtuoso musicians who play with magic and passion for the inspired Bulgarian audience.
