The northwestern town of Vidin may lack the summertime appeal of Varna, but it has something to offer to those seeking a different summer week in July.
The Bridge is the place where art and music lovers from the whole northwest of Bulgaria meet for a truly electrifying week in mid-July, filling the air with hot music hits, craft workshops and plenty of social events.
The 2017 edition of the festival is expected to gather more than one hundred young artists in the town of Baba Vida (a medieval fortress in Vidin and the town’s primary landmark).From July 16 to July 23, 2017 the young, teenaged enthusiasts will be demonstrating their artistic and other special skills in the field of music, dancing and crafts in twelve workshops around town.
The Bridge is a truly unique summer experience, bridging the gap between generations of artists in northwestern Bulgaria.
The motto of the festival’s edition this year is Peer Inspiration, because the young artists will be inspiring their peers to follow in their footsteps.
