In June 12-14, 2014, the third edition of Stara Zagora Jazz Forum will take place. Every year, the festival features a different instrument or aspects of jazz. This year, the spotlight will be on Bulgarian jazz composers. Their works will be performed by Antoni Donchev and Hristo Yotsov, Lyubomir Denev Jr., Mario Stanchev (piano, founder of the Jazz Department at the Lion’s Music Conservatory), Peter Slavov (contrabass), Vladimir Karparov (Berlin), Dimitar Bodurov (Amsterdam), Vasil Spasov, BNR Big Bend, Stara Zagora Military Big Bend etc. There will also be photo exhibits, master classes on composing jazz, children’s program and jam sessions.
