The project aims to inform the public on the trends in regional development and to assist policy-makers in making informed and suitable decisions to promote regional development. The Regional Profiles use objective and verifiable data to develop an annual analytical report, which evaluates the performance of the country's 28 regions relative to each other and to the overall national level based on a large number of indicators, clustered in several categories, including economy, infrastructure, employment and others.
