This grant is to support the 4-th edition of Stara Zagora Jazz Forum. This year, the title of the fest is Where the Opera Swings. Arrangements by Miles Davis and collaborator Gil Evans from George Gershwin's opera Porgy and Bess, performed by the National Radio Big Band and conducted by Antoni Donchev will be one of the festival’s features. Performances of the opera prima Edelina Kaneva with JP3 trio and Jerry Bergonzi - an American jazz tenor saxophonist, composer and educator are also included in the program.
