This grant is to support the fifth edition of the Music of America series of concerts. The Music of America was initiated in 2010 and has become one of the most successful classic music events in the last few years. In 2015-2016, the program will consist of four concerts: Perfectly Frank - A Century Of Sinatra, commemorating the 100-th anniversary of Frank Sinatra, starring Sal Viviano; Gershwin Tribute, conducted by Andre J. Thomas; Hollywood in Concert with music by John Williams, conducted by Conrad Pope; and Pixar in Concert, starring Classic FM Orchestra and conducted by Grigor Palikarov. The Music of America fits ABF’s strategy to bring American art to Bulgaria and attract young audiences back to the concert halls.
