Believe it or not, a complete catalogue with the works of Tsanko Lavrenov, one of the most appreciated Bulgarian painters, has never been issued in Bulgaria. Tsanko Lavrenov Foundation has undertaken an ambitious goal: to publish over 400 of his paintings and his detailed biography in a luxury book, noting 120 years of the painter’s birth. Two large exhibits – in the Sofia City Gallery starting June 7 and in Plovdiv’s City Gallery starting September 6 will show to the audience a selection of the author’s best paintings.
