LocalFood.bg network – a start-ups incubator and catalyst for food policy change in Bulgaria

The objective of this project is to support the LocalFood.bg Foundation to become an incubator for small business initiatives and create a nationwide network of small local food businesses, help them reach the market and develop sustainable in the longer term, operating in compliance with all legislative requirements.

The program envisages:

- Upgrade of an existing web platform www.localfood.bg, turning it into a one-stop-shop for small food businesses, rich in resources, practical guides, training materials, calendars of events, case studies of successful models of shared working spaces and good practices already applied in Bulgaria, an online labelizer for personalized solutions for creating labels of products;
- Organizing series of trainings for local food start-ups and presentations of success stories in 6 regions covering participants from more than 20 Bulgarian cities;
- Carrying out an active communication campaign and creating a community of like-minded people who will be provided expert assistance and guidance how to develop sustainable, successful small business initiatives.
