Continued Institutional Support for the Trust for Social Achievement Foundation
Trust for Social Achievement Foundation

BGN 10,150,000

The new three-year grant to the Trust for Social Achievement (TSA) is to support TSA as it continues to test and fund innovative, results-driven approaches that increase self-sufficiency and improve life outcomes for Bulgaria’s poor, with a focus on the Roma. This is achieved by supporting three key areas:

  • Early childhood development, with an emphasis on healthy parenting and increased participation in preschool
  • Educational achievement and drop-out prevention for at-risk pupils, with a focus on improving school participation/learning and increasing graduation from high school
  • Access to income opportunities for at-risk groups, specifically job connection, entrepreneurship, and home ownership

In addition, TSA is interested in capacity building for local organizations, with an emphasis on financial accountability and data-based performance evaluation.

More information regarding the TSA, its program areas and application procedures can be found on its webpage: www.socialachievement.org.
