This grant is to support the Night of Museums and Galleries in 2019, organized by Open Arts Foundation. The festival significantly contributes to the local economy and cultural tourism in Plovdiv, making the city an attractive place to work and live. A study by Industry Watch and the Sociological Department of Plovdiv University in 2015 showed that each dollar invested in the festival generates $4 of revenue for local businesses. The Night quickly gained popularity and became a symbol of the creative spirit of Plovdiv.
