Foreign language skills have become a prerequisite for career success. Through this project, the America for Bulgaria Foundation continues to support English language teaching at language schools in Bulgaria. Over the next three years, the program will place 30 American teaching assistants in English-language teaching roles at 30 Bulgarian schools, providing an invaluable opportunity for students to improve their spoken and written skills, get acquainted with English and American literature, and learn about American culture. The ETAs will continue their tradition of being active outside the classroom and involving their students in socially significant initiatives.
