The project will promote Belene and the region as a tourist destination for ecotourism, bird and mammal watching, and wildlife photography. TV Invest is the owner of the Prestige Hotel in town, which has already built two bird shelters. The grant will support the construction of a third shelter and the development of tours that will be promoted through project partner Wild Eco, a Bulgarian tour operator specializing in ecotourism.
