The First Kings of Europe exhibition will showcase several hundred artifacts from museums in Bulgaria and ten other Balkan countries during a three-venue North American tour, expected to attract 750,000 visitors. Participating Bulgarian museums include the National History Museum and regional history museums in Varna and Ruse, with artifacts coming from Kamenovo, Ruse, Zlatinitsa, Borovo, Begovo, Sinemorets, and Varna. The exhibition will also feature a reconstruction of the Thracian Sveshtari tomb. The tour schedule is as follows: • Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York University, New York City: September 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023 • Field Museum, Chicago: March 31, 2023, through January 28, 2024 • Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, Quebec: April 4, 2024, through January 19, 2025
