Transforming the Visitor Experience at Vratsa Treasures Hall at Regional Historical Museum in Vratsa
Atelie 3 architectural studio

BGN 52,778

The aim of the project is to upgrade the visitor experience at the Vratsa Regional History Museum and to position the institution as a model for other museums across the country. The exhibition hall is 60 sq.m. and contains artifacts from Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and Bulgaria’s National Revival period. The nearly 300 gold, silver, and bronze items of different sizes and designs represent treasures from the region of Vratsa. Some of the most impressive items in the collection are a shin guard depicting the goddess Bendida and a golden wreath worn by the Triballi princess, dating to the 4th century BC. Visitors will be invited to experience the exhibition through all the senses: they will see, hear, and even smell and touch the many tales that these treasures tell.

We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
