An Interactive Exhibit of professor Marin Varbanov

This grant is to support the Historical Museum in Oryahovo in producing an interactive digital exhibition of works by Professor Marin Varbanov, curated by Ivo Milev at the Ekimdzhiev House in Oryahovo. An audio guide in Bulgarian and English will be available in addition to a catalog of Professor Varbanov’s art as well as souvenirs from the exhibit. Professor Marin Varbanov was born in Oryahovo in 1932. He is the founder of the textile and fashion department at the National Art Academy in Sofia (1959) and of a tapestry school that became the Institute of Art Tapestry Varbanov at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou, China.
