The America for Bulgaria Foundation (ABF) donated $50,000 to the Peace Corps Partnership Program in order to support at minimum 10 projects submitted by Peace Corps Volunteers and their counterparts throughout the coming year. Support will be given to projects that: increase the participation and performance of marginalized children in school, with a primary emphasis on Roma children; and meaningfully link economically disadvantaged people with employment opportunities, with a primary emphasis on Roma youth. It is anticipated that the majority of projects will be linked to education.
