This project builds on the success of Little Heroes – the refurbishment of the children’s wards at Pirogov Hospital – that ABF championed in 2017. "A hospital that doesn't look like a hospital" is the Firefly philosophy of change. The friendly environment - clean, bright, and colorful - accelerates the healing process, taking away the stress of children's illness, soothes their parents' worries and improves the working conditions of medical personnel. In partnership with the Za Dobroto Foundation, we will support the renovation of the children's wards of the municipal hospitals in Lovech, Veliko Tarnovo and (the third hospital will be announced soon) to create a friendly environment that supports the treatment and healing process.
