This grant provides funding for the establishment of the protected area of Kalimok Brashlen as a key destination for nature-based and educational tourism, while preserving its status as one of the most significant wetlands in the country and along the Lower Danube. As part of the project, an observation tower and a birdwatching and photography shelter will be constructed, allowing visitors to experience Kalimok's rich wildlife without disturbing it. The project is a collaborative effort involving the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, the Association for the Development of Tourism in the Tutrakan Region, the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water in Ruse, and the Directorate of Nature Park Rusenski Lom.
