The World of Airships: When Yambol Was Part of It

The grant provides funding for the multimedia exhibition “The World of Airships: When Yambol Was Part of It” at the Regional Museum of History in Yambol. The exhibition showcases early 20th-century airship innovation and celebrates Bulgaria’s aviation heritage, highlighting the historic record-setting flight of the L59 airship from Yambol to Tanzania. Following its debut, the exhibition will travel to Spain and France, presenting Bulgaria’s role in aviation history to international audiences. It will conclude at the National Museum of History in Sofia, serving as the centerpiece of an international scientific conference.
