This grant supported a local summer camp for 22 children. This camp was multi-ethnic—Roma children attending both the integrated as well as the “Roma school” were invited to attend, as well as ethnic Bulgarians, Muslim Bulgarians, and children of Vlah origin. The Future Foundation used games, mixers, and activities to foster friendships and to promote tolerance. The camp also succeeded in meeting one of its primary goals—to encourage Roma children studying at the “Roma school” to enroll in the integrated school that fall.
