The overall goal of the Advanced Academia Project is to support the excellence of academic research in Bulgaria. The Project will contribute to the professional development of promising young and outstanding senior Bulgarian scholars by providing independent research fellowships in a trans-disciplinary international environment. It will also disseminate knowledge, provide access to high-quality scholarly research, and increase the influence of academia in Bulgarian public life and the visibility of Bulgarian scholars abroad. A total of 24 fellows will participate in the program. Each scholar will receive a fellowship for 5 months (1 academic semester).
