Introduction of the Teach for All Program in Bulgaria
Teach for All
USD 1,020,351
Teach for All is a global network established by Teach for America and Teach First (UK) to support partners wishing to adapt the Teach for All model to their local context. This model aims to recruit top graduates to commit two years to teach in high-need areas to help underserved pupils realize their full potential. Teach for All will provide the local organization with ongoing materials and support, including access to a global network of actors implementing similar programs throughout the world. Joining a global support network will provide the local organization with technical assistance, synergies, a global brand, and global resources. Both Teach for America and Teach First have been able to collect considerable data demonstrating the positive impact of their fellows on pupils studying in underserved schools. They have also developed a successful recruitment strategy to attract an impressive cohort of ambitious graduates to teach. In 2009 Business Week Magazine named Teach for America the 7th best place to start a career. In the UK, Teach First was ranked the 8th most prestigious graduate employer. By utilizing Teach for All’s strong resource base, the local organization will more successfully create a program that is both rewarding and beneficial for Bulgaria’s top students, as well as able to make a real impact on the performance of Bulgaria’s most disadvantaged children in school.
We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
