Foundation “Zaedno v Chas” is an independent NGO established with the financial support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. The Teach for America model was first introduced 20 years ago in the United States and has experienced significant success. It has been duplicated in 14 countries throughout the world, which make up the Teach for All network. “Zaedno v Chas” will recruit exceptional Bulgaria university graduates and young professionals to teach for two years in under-resourced schools. These young teachers will introduce new teaching methods, enthusiasm, and high academic standards. They will also demonstrate that the teaching profession, which has lost its luster over the years, is one of the toughest and most important jobs in our society. Lastly, the program seeks to build a cohort of program alumni who, despite their ultimate professional career path, will continue to remain committed to building and promoting educational equity and quality in Bulgaria.
