The Bulgarian Young Leaders Program (BYLP) provides Bulgarian students of exceptional caliber and promising magistrate professionals with unique scholarship and leadership training in the United States. The program not only trains individuals to become catalysts for Bulgaria’s continuous civil society development and economic growth, but it also strengthens mutual understanding and ongoing collaboration between young and aspiring leaders in the U.S. and Bulgaria. The BYLP incorporates three major components: (1) Summer Entrepreneurship Program; (2) U.S. Academic Immersion Program; and (3) Junior Justice Professionals Training. Fifty Bulgarian students from different universities and 20 magistrates will participate in U.S.-based programs to experience the best educational and institutional practices.
