The America for Bulgaria Foundation supports the National Institute for Training and Qualification in Education to launch a new training program for assistant directors of vocational schools. The objective is by improving the ability of assistant directors to work more effectively with stakeholders to narrow the gap between education and business, and guarantee a quality professional education with a focus on practical skills. Two hundred (200) participants will attend four, five-day training sessions to learn how effectively to partner with stakeholders. Qualified instructors will cover themes such as European trends and national policies in vocational education and training, strategic planning, identification and analysis of stakeholders, and developing strategic partnerships. The most valuable aspect of the program will be the opportunity for assistant directors to meet and work with business representatives during the sessions and to start networking and building relationships.
