The grant will be used to stage four masterworks in the Sofia Opera - George Balanchine’s Agon and Divertimento Brillante, Kathryn Posin’s Stepping Stones and Momchil Mladenov’s Rapsody Varder. Ballet dancers of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet (Suzanne Farrell is Balanchine’s muse), The Kathryn Posin Dance Group and the Sofia Opera will perform on stage. Besides the ballet performances, Suzanne Farrel, Kathryn Posin and Momchil Mladenov will give master classes and will do the casting.
