Pancho Vladigerov Music Academy was established 90 years ago and is the most prestigious music university in Bulgaria. The university’s building is a former German military school. No major renovation of classrooms and common areas has been done in the last 25 years. The idea is to renovate the sound studio and the music library, furbishing a common area for the students where they can listen to music, read and use the Internet for their projects. Also, the entire 3-rd floor of the Academy will be renovated, a modern sound system will be installed so that music can be broadcasted in the classes, the corridor will be repainted, five classrooms will be entirely renovated and refurbished and one hall will be converted into a chamber music and conference stage.
