The National Internship Program for Young Leaders aims at developing the leadership potential of the most talented Bulgarian university students and provides them with meaningful internship opportunities. In 2011, 40 Bulgarian students will benefit from a 6-week paid internship at leading Bulgarian and international companies. The internship is preceded by a two-week intensive training at the American University in Bulgaria. In addition to the academic classes, representatives from leading companies operating in the country will expose the students to the requirements of the real business. The topics will vary from leadership to management to talents’ generation, coaching and development. America for Bulgaria Foundation will support the organization of the second Empower Award for Young Entrepreneurial Excellence that promotes and encourages entrepreneurial mindsets, talent development, and creative skills among young Bulgarians.
