This is the second year in which America for Bulgaria supports the Living Heritage project. In 2010 WCIF received over 180 applications funded 21 projects from 17 municipalities. Over 1,335 people were involved in the initiative. The Living Heritage small grants are used to expose a typical tradition, a cultural or a natural mark of the area. Training in marketing practices, presentation skills or any other skills needed for the project are provided to the participants. The project falls within ABF’s strategy to help communities preserve their traditions and pass them over to the younger generation.
